Getting There

• Walking

  From the center of Mae Nam, head north towards the main road (Route 4169). Continue walking along the road, and look for signs indicating the direction to Mae Nam Viewpoint. The viewpoint is approximately 2 kilometers from the center of Mae Nam. Be cautious as you walk along the roadside, as it can be busy with traffic.

• Motorbike Taxi

  For a quicker option, you can hire a motorbike taxi. You can find motorbike taxis near popular spots like Maenam beach. Simply tell the driver you want to go to Mae Nam Viewpoint (HXPM+V3Q). The ride should take around 5-10 minutes and cost approximately 100-150 THB, depending on your negotiation skills.

• Bicycle Rental

  If you prefer cycling, consider renting a bicycle from one of the many rental shops in Mae Nam. Once you have your bike, head north towards Route 4169 and follow the same path as you would when walking. Enjoy the scenic ride, and remember to wear a helmet and stay mindful of traffic. The distance is about 2 kilometers, and you'll have the flexibility to stop and take pictures along the way.

• Local Songthaew

  You can also take a local songthaew (shared taxi) that runs along the main road. Look for the songthaews heading towards Bophut or Chaweng and ask the driver to drop you off at Mae Nam Viewpoint. The fare is generally around 30-50 THB per person, and the journey takes about 10-15 minutes depending on traffic.
