Getting there

Car

If you are driving, start from Sairee Beach, the main tourist area in Koh Tao. Head east on the main road towards Chalok Baan Kao. After about 3 km, look for a sign for Eden Viewpoint on the right. Turn right and follow the dirt road. Continue for about 1 km until you reach the parking area. From there, follow the well-marked trail to the viewpoint. Note that the road can be bumpy, so ensure your vehicle is suitable for off-road driving.

Motorbike

Rent a motorbike from one of the many rental shops around Koh Tao. Start from the Sairee Beach area and head towards Chalok Baan Kao. After approximately 3 km, watch for the sign for Eden Viewpoint on your right. Turn right onto the dirt road and proceed for about 1 km to the parking area. The trail to the viewpoint is well-marked and easy to follow from there. Ensure to wear a helmet and drive cautiously, especially on the unpaved sections.

Taxi

You can hire a taxi or a songthaew (shared taxi) from your location in Koh Tao. Inform the driver that you want to go to Eden Viewpoint. This will typically cost around 200-300 THB depending on your starting point. The driver will take you to the parking area near the viewpoint, from where you will need to hike approximately 20 minutes on a marked path to reach the viewpoint.

Walking

If you are close to the viewpoint and prefer walking, start at the nearest road intersection leading to Eden Viewpoint. Follow the signs towards Chalok Baan Kao and look for the dirt road leading to Eden Viewpoint. Be prepared for a hike of about 1-2 km uphill, depending on your starting point. Make sure to wear comfortable shoes and bring water for the trek.
