    If you are driving from Krabi Town, take Route 4 (Phetkasem Road) heading north. After approximately 25 kilometers, turn left onto Route 4034 towards Ao Luek. Continue on this road for about 10 kilometers until you reach Ao Luek Tai. The sanctuary is located at 83/13 Ao Luek Tai, which is on your left. Make sure to check for signs along the way. Parking is available at the sanctuary.

  • Public Transportation (Songthaew)

    To reach Krabi Elephant Sanctuary using public transportation, take a Songthaew (local shared taxi) from Krabi Town to Ao Luek. The fare is around 50-100 THB per person, depending on your negotiation skills. Inform the driver that you want to go to Ao Luek Tai. The journey will take approximately 30-40 minutes. Once you arrive in Ao Luek Tai, you can either walk (around 15 minutes) or take a local tuk-tuk to the sanctuary, which should cost around 30-50 THB.
