If you are traveling by car, start your journey from Ao Nang. Head south on Ao Nang Road (Route 4203) and continue until you reach the intersection with Route 4202. Turn left onto Route 4202 and follow the signs for 'Koh Phi Phi.' After approximately 30 kilometers, you will arrive at the pier in Krabi Town. From there, park your car in a secure lot and purchase a ferry ticket to Phi Phi Islands. The ferry ride to Koh Phi Phi Don takes about 45 minutes. Upon arrival, look for a long-tail boat service that can take you to Monkey Bay, which is located on the southern side of Phi Phi Don. The long-tail boat ride will cost around 300-500 THB per person and takes approximately 15-20 minutes.

To reach Monkey Bay using public transportation, start at Ao Nang. Take a local songthaew (shared taxi) to Krabi Town, which costs around 50 THB per person and takes about 30 minutes. Once in Krabi Town, head to the Krabi Pier and purchase a ferry ticket to Koh Phi Phi. The ferry ride costs approximately 400 THB and lasts about 45 minutes. Upon reaching Koh Phi Phi Don, hire a long-tail boat to take you to Monkey Bay. The boat ride will cost between 300-500 THB and takes around 15-20 minutes. Make sure to confirm the price with the boat operator before departing.
