Car
If you're driving from Chiang Mai city center, head north on Highway 107. Continue on this road for about 40 kilometers until you reach the town of Mae Taeng. Once in Mae Taeng, look for signs directing you to San Mahaphon. Turn right onto San Mahaphon Road (Route 1001). After about 5 kilometers, you will see 'Dantewada' on your left at 288 San Mahaphon. There is parking available on-site.
Public Transportation
To reach Dantewada via public transportation, first make your way to the Arcade Bus Station in Chiang Mai. Look for a bus or minivan heading to Mae Taeng. The journey takes approximately 1 to 1.5 hours, depending on traffic. Once you arrive in Mae Taeng, you can either take a local songthaew (shared taxi) or a motorbike taxi to Dantewada. Inform the driver to take you to '288 San Mahaphon,' which is about 5 kilometers from the Mae Taeng bus station. The fare for the local transport should be around 50-100 THB.
