Car
From the center of Chiang Mai, take Route 107 north towards Mae Taeng. Continue on Route 107 for about 30 kilometers. Look for signs indicating Mae Taeng District. Once you reach Mae Taeng, take a left on Unnamed Road (6V44+W9V) right after passing the Mae Taeng Elephant Park. Follow this road for approximately 5 kilometers until you arrive at Happy Elephant Home.

Public Transportation
From Chiang Mai, take a songthaew (red truck taxi) or a bus from the Arcade Bus Station to Mae Taeng. This journey will cost around 50-100 THB and takes about 1-1.5 hours. Once you reach Mae Taeng, you can either hire a local songthaew or grab a taxi to take you to Happy Elephant Home, which is approximately 5 kilometers away. The cost for this local transport should be around 200-300 THB.

If you prefer a more direct route, you can hire a taxi from Chiang Mai directly to Happy Elephant Home. This will be the most convenient option but also the most expensive, costing around 800-1200 THB depending on negotiation and traffic conditions. The taxi will take you straight to the Unnamed Road in Kuet Chang, Mae Taeng District.
