If you are driving to Wat Buak Krok Luang from central Chiang Mai, head south on Route 11. Follow the signs towards Lamphun for approximately 10 km. Take the exit for Route 1006 towards Tha Sala. Continue on Route 1006 for about 5 km until you reach Tha Sala Sub-district. The temple is located at the address: Tha Sala Sub-district, Mueang Chiang Mai District, Chiang Mai 50000. There is limited parking available near the temple.

Public Transportation - Songthaew
To reach Wat Buak Krok Luang by public transport, find a Songthaew (shared taxi) from the Chiang Mai Old City. Look for a Songthaew that has 'Tha Sala' or 'Hang Dong' written on the side. The fare is approximately 30-50 THB per person, and the journey will take around 30-45 minutes, depending on traffic. Ask the driver to drop you off at Wat Buak Krok Luang. Make sure to have cash ready for the fare.

Another option is to take a local bus from the Arcade Bus Station in Chiang Mai. Look for a bus heading towards Tha Sala. The fare will be around 50-100 THB, and the trip may take about 1 hour.
