Car
If you're driving, start from the center of Chiang Mai. Head north on Ratchadamnoen Road, which is a main road in the Old City. Continue straight until you reach the T-junction at the end, then turn left onto Thapae Road. Follow Thapae Road until it intersects with the main road, then turn right. You will see signs for Wat Rajamontean. Continue for about 2 kilometers, and the temple will be on your right at 149 Mueang Chiang Mai District.
Public Transportation
To reach Wat Rajamontean by public transport, you can take a red songthaew (shared taxi) from the Old City. Look for one heading towards the north of the city. Inform the driver that you want to visit Wat Rajamontean. The journey will take around 15-20 minutes, depending on traffic. You will be dropped off near the temple at 149 Mueang Chiang Mai District. From there, it’s just a short walk to the entrance.
Walking
If you’re already in the Old City area, you can walk to Wat Rajamontean. Start at the Tha Pae Gate, head north along Ratchadamnoen Road for about 1 kilometer. At the T-junction, take a left onto Thapae Road and continue walking until you reach the main intersection. Turn right and walk for another 1 kilometer. You will find Wat Rajamontean on your right at 149 Mueang Chiang Mai District.
