If you're driving to Wat Suan Dok, start from the Old City of Chiang Mai. Head southwest on Ratchadamnoen Road, then take a left onto Suthep Road (Route 1006). Continue straight for about 2 kilometers. You will see Wat Suan Dok on your right at 139 Suthep Rd. There is parking available nearby.

To reach Wat Suan Dok using public transportation, take a red songthaew (shared taxi) from the Old City. You can find them near Thapae Gate. Tell the driver you want to go to Wat Suan Dok. The fare is around 20-30 THB. The trip will take approximately 15-20 minutes, and the songthaew will drop you off near the temple entrance.

If you are close to the area, you can walk to Wat Suan Dok from the Nimmanhaemin area. Head east on Nimmanhaemin Road, then turn left onto Suthep Road (Route 1006). Continue straight for about 1.5 kilometers. Wat Suan Dok will be on your left. The walk will take approximately 20-30 minutes.
