Getting there

Public Bus

From Loei city center, head to the Loei Bus Station (สถานีขนส่งผู้โดยสารเลย). Look for a bus heading to Phu Ruea. These buses are frequent and will take you to the Phu Ruea District. The journey takes about 30-40 minutes. Make sure to inform the bus driver that you want to get off near Nong Bua, close to Huai Phai Waterfall.

Motorbike Taxi

Once you arrive at Nong Bua, you can hire a motorbike taxi (รถจักรยานยนต์รับจ้าง) to take you directly to Huai Phai Waterfall. Show the driver the location details: F8FH+4C7, Nong Bua, Phu Ruea District. The ride should take about 15-20 minutes. Make sure to negotiate the fare beforehand.

Walking (if nearby)

If you are already in Nong Bua and feel adventurous, you can walk to Huai Phai Waterfall. Start from the center of Nong Bua village. Head northeast on the main road towards Phu Ruea National Park. After about 2 kilometers, you should see signs pointing towards the waterfall. Follow these signs, and you will reach the waterfall in approximately 30-40 minutes on foot.
