If you are in Loei town, start at the Loei Bus Station. Exit the station and head southeast on Phon Phaeng Road. Walk straight for about 500 meters until you reach the intersection with Phu Khiao Road. Turn left onto Phu Khiao Road and continue walking for another 1 kilometer. You will see a sign for Loei River on your right. Follow the road that leads down towards the riverbank. The river is easily accessible from this path.

Rent a bicycle from one of the local shops in Loei town. Start at the Loei Bus Station and head southeast on Phon Phaeng Road. After about 500 meters, turn left onto Phu Khiao Road. Continue for approximately 1 kilometer until you see a sign for Loei River on your right. Follow the path leading down to the riverbank. Biking along this route is pleasant with minimal traffic.

Find a tuk-tuk near the Loei Bus Station. Tell the driver you want to go to Loei River. The ride will take about 10-15 minutes, depending on traffic.
