It's about a 30-minute ride. Inform the driver that you wish to get off at Pang Tong Palace. The songthaew will drop you off at the nearest stop, from where you may need to walk a short distance to reach the palace.

If you prefer a quicker option, look for motorbike taxis in the main areas of Mae Hong Son. Negotiate a fare to Pang Tong Palace, which is approximately 30 km away. The ride will take about 25-30 minutes. The drivers are familiar with the area and will take you directly to the entrance of the palace.
