Breathtaking Vistas at Pha Bong Viewpoint

Getting There

• Walking

  From the center of Mae Hong Son, head towards the Mae Hong Son Walking Street, which is near the clock tower. Continue walking down the main road (Soi 2). After about 1.5 kilometers, you'll reach the junction with Highway 1095. Turn left onto Highway 1095 and continue for approximately 5 kilometers. This road is well-marked, and you will see signs for Pha Bong Viewpoint. The viewpoint is situated on the right side of the highway, with a small path leading up to it.

• Public Transport

  From the Mae Hong Son bus station, look for local songthaews (shared taxis) that head towards Pha Bong. These usually wait near the station and should have a sign indicating their destination. The ride will take approximately 20-30 minutes. Ask the driver to drop you off at Pha Bong Viewpoint, as they are familiar with the location. Once you arrive, follow the short walking path to the viewpoint for stunning views.

• Bicycle Rental

  Rent a bicycle from one of the rental shops in Mae Hong Son. Start your journey from the clock tower and head towards Highway 1095. Follow the same route as if walking, which is about 7 kilometers in total. The ride will take approximately 30-40 minutes. Upon reaching Pha Bong, park your bicycle in the designated area and walk the short distance to the viewpoint.
