The journey takes approximately 1 to 1.5 hours. Inform the bus driver that you want to go to Khao Luang National Park or ask them to drop you off at the nearest stop.

After arriving at the bus station, you can also take a songthaew from Nakhon Si Thammarat city center. Find the one that goes to Lan Saka District. The songthaews typically leave when full and may take about 1 hour. Request to be dropped off at the entrance of Khao Luang National Park.

If you prefer a quicker option, you can hire a motorbike taxi from Nakhon Si Thammarat city center directly to Khao Luang National Park. This ride can take about 30 to 45 minutes depending on traffic. Make sure to negotiate the fare beforehand.
