From Nakhon Si Thammarat city center, head to the Nakhon Si Thammarat Bus Station. Look for buses heading towards Lan Saka District or Khao Luang National Park. The journey takes approximately 1 to 1.5 hours. Inform the bus driver that you want to go to Khao Luang National Park or ask them to drop you off at the nearest stop.

Songthaew (Shared Taxi)
After arriving at the bus station, you can also take a songthaew from Nakhon Si Thammarat city center. Find the one that goes to Lan Saka District. The songthaews typically leave when full and may take about 1 hour. Request to be dropped off at the entrance of Khao Luang National Park.

Motorbike Taxi
If you prefer a quicker option, you can hire a motorbike taxi from Nakhon Si Thammarat city center directly to Khao Luang National Park. This ride can take about 30 to 45 minutes depending on traffic. Make sure to negotiate the fare beforehand.

Walking (from nearest drop-off point)
If you are dropped off at a nearby point, you may need to walk the remaining distance to the park entrance. Follow the main road signs that lead to Khao Kaeo. The entrance is located at the coordinates 8.3686348, 99.7353445. Look for signs that indicate the entrance to Khao Luang National Park.
