If you are starting from Nakhon Si Thammarat Train Station, exit the station and head east on Ratchadamnoen Road. Continue walking straight for about 1.5 kilometers until you reach the intersection with Tani Road. Turn left onto Tani Road and walk for another 500 meters. You will see Wat Phra Mahathat Woramahawihan on your right. The temple is located at 435 Ratchadamnoen Road.

From the Nakhon Si Thammarat Bus Terminal, take a local bus heading towards the city center. These buses are frequent and will drop you off near Ratchadamnoen Road. Once you get off, continue walking east along Ratchadamnoen Road for about 600 meters. The temple will be on your left at 435 Ratchadamnoen Road.

From any central location in Nakhon Si Thammarat, find a songthaew (a pickup truck with benches) that has a route to Ratchadamnoen Road. Inform the driver you want to go to Wat Phra Mahathat Woramahawihan. The ride should take around 10-15 minutes, depending on traffic. Get off when you see the temple at 435 Ratchadamnoen Road.
