    If you are traveling by car, start your journey from Chiang Mai. Head south on Route 11 for approximately 130 kilometers. Continue straight until you reach the intersection for Route 1, where you will take a left. Follow Route 1 for about 45 kilometers until you reach Phrae. Once in Phrae, follow the local signs to Nai Wiang. Turn onto Khum Doem Alley, and you will find Khum Chao Luang at number 4. Parking is available near the museum.

  • Public Transportation - Bus

    For those using public transportation, take a bus from Chiang Mai to Phrae. Buses leave regularly from the Chiang Mai Arcade Bus Station and the journey takes about 3-4 hours. Once you arrive at the Phrae Bus Station, you can take a tuk-tuk or a local songthaew (shared taxi) to Nai Wiang. Request the driver to take you to 4 ถนน Khum Doem Alley, the location of Khum Chao Luang. The fare for the tuk-tuk or songthaew should be around 20-40 THB.
