Once you reach Lampang, follow the signs to Mueang Lampang District. Upon entering the district, look for Ton Thong Chai. Wat Phra Chedi Sao is located at Ton Thong Chai, Mueang Lampang District, Lampang 52000. The temple is visible from the main road, and there is parking available near the entrance.

To reach Wat Phra Chedi Sao by public transport, you can take a bus from Chiang Mai to Lampang. Buses leave from the Arcade Bus Station in Chiang Mai, and the journey takes about 2 to 3 hours.
