Getting There

  • Walking

    Start from the Pai Walking Street, which is the central area of Pai. Head northeast on Rungsiyanon Road until you reach the intersection with Chaisongkram Road. Continue straight onto Chaisongkram Road for about 1 kilometer. You will pass by several cafes and shops. At the T-junction, turn left onto Route 1095. Walk for another 1.5 kilometers until you see a sign for 'Thung Yao'. Turn right onto the unnamed road. Follow this road for about 2 kilometers, and you will reach Conserve Natural Forest, which will be on your right.

  • Biking

    Rent a bicycle from one of the many rental shops in Pai. Start at Pai Walking Street and ride northeast on Rungsiyanon Road. At the intersection with Chaisongkram Road, continue straight onto Chaisongkram Road. Keep cycling for about 1 kilometer. When you reach the T-junction, turn left onto Route 1095 and bike for approximately 1.5 kilometers. Look for the sign to 'Thung Yao' on your right. Turn right onto the unnamed road, and after about 2 kilometers, Conserve Natural Forest will be on your right.

  • Trekking

    For an adventurous trek, start at Pai Walking Street and take the path leading out of town towards the rice fields. Follow the trails that lead north towards the hills. You may need a local guide for this trek as the paths can be challenging. After about 3 kilometers, head towards the direction of Thung Yao. From there, make your way down toward the unnamed road and walk approximately 2 kilometers to reach Conserve Natural Forest.
