Walking
If you are in the center of Pai, head towards the Pai Walking Street, which is near the Pai River. Exit the walking street and head north on Rungsiyanon Road. Continue walking for about 1 kilometer until you reach the intersection with the Pai-Mae Hong Son Road (also known as Route 1095). Turn left onto this road and continue for another 1.5 kilometers. You will see signs directing you to the Big Buddha Pai. The entrance will be on your right. It's a bit of an uphill trek, but the views are worth it.
Bicycle
Rent a bicycle from one of the many rental shops in Pai. Start from the center of Pai and head towards Rungsiyanon Road. After about 1 kilometer, turn left onto Pai-Mae Hong Son Road (Route 1095). Cycle for approximately 1.5 kilometers, keeping an eye out for signs to Big Buddha Pai. The entrance will be on your right. Be prepared for some steep sections as you approach the site.
Motorbike (Rental)
If you prefer a quicker option, rent a motorbike from a rental shop in Pai. From the center of Pai, drive north on Rungsiyanon Road until you reach the junction with Pai-Mae Hong Son Road (Route 1095). Turn left and drive for about 1.5 kilometers. Look for signs indicating Big Buddha Pai, which will be on your right. Parking is available near the entrance.
Songthaew (Shared Taxi)
Catch a songthaew from the main road in Pai. Inform the driver that you want to go to Big Buddha Pai. The fare should be around 20-30 THB per person. The driver will drop you off at the entrance to the site. Be sure to confirm that they will wait for you or pick you up at a specific time, as schedules may vary.
