Getting There

• Car

  If you are traveling by car, start from Phetchabun city center. Drive north on Route 12 (Phetchabun - Loei Road) for approximately 50 kilometers. Look for the signs indicating Dan Sai District and turn onto Route 201. Continue for about 10 kilometers until you reach the intersection with Kok Sathon. Follow the signs to Phu Thap Buek. The road to the peak is a winding mountain road, so drive carefully. There might be a small parking fee at the entrance, typically around 20-30 THB.

• Public Transportation

  To travel using public transportation, take a bus from Phetchabun Bus Terminal to Dan Sai District. Buses run regularly and the fare is around 50-70 THB. Once you arrive at Dan Sai, you can hire a local songthaew (shared taxi) to take you to Phu Thap Buek. The cost for the songthaew is usually around 300-400 THB per trip, and it can accommodate multiple passengers. Make sure to negotiate the fare and confirm the return trip, as public transport options may be limited in the evening.
