If you are driving to Doi Khun Tan National Park, start from the main road in the Phi Pan Nam Range area. Head towards Lamphun on Highway 106. Follow the signs for Mae Tha District. After about 30 kilometers, take a left turn onto Route 1155, which will lead you directly to the park entrance. The park is located approximately 5 kilometers from the turn-off. Be prepared for some winding roads as you approach the park.

Public Transportation
To reach Doi Khun Tan National Park via public transport, first take a bus or minivan from Chiang Mai to Lamphun. Buses depart regularly from the Arcade Bus Station in Chiang Mai. The fare is approximately 50-70 THB. Once you arrive at Lamphun, take a local songthaew (shared taxi) to Mae Tha District. The cost for the songthaew is around 30-50 THB. Ask the driver to drop you off at the entrance of Doi Khun Tan National Park, which is about 15 kilometers from Mae Tha.

If you prefer a more direct route, you can hire a taxi from Chiang Mai to Doi Khun Tan National Park. This option is more expensive, typically ranging from 800 to 1200 THB depending on negotiation. The taxi can take you directly to the park entrance, which is about 45 kilometers from Chiang Mai. Make sure to confirm the fare before starting your journey.
