If you are driving, start by heading south from any location in Phi Pan Nam Range towards Route 118. Continue on Route 118 for approximately 20 kilometers until you reach the intersection with Route 3005. Turn left onto Route 3005 and drive for about 5 kilometers. Look for signs directing you to Doi Saket Hot Spring, which will be on your right. There is parking available near the hot spring.
Public Transportation - Songthaew
To reach Doi Saket Hot Spring via public transportation, find a Songthaew (shared taxi) that is heading towards Doi Saket District. You can catch a Songthaew from central Chiang Mai or any major hub in the Phi Pan Nam Range. The fare is usually around 50-100 THB depending on your starting point. Ask the driver to drop you off at Doi Saket Hot Spring. The journey may take approximately 30-40 minutes.
Public Transportation - Bus
Alternatively, take a local bus from Chiang Mai to Doi Saket. Buses leave from Chiang Mai's Arcade Bus Station. Make sure to check the schedule, as they may not run frequently. If you are staying in Doi Saket District, you can walk to Doi Saket Hot Spring. It’s about a 5-kilometer walk from the town center. Follow Route 3005 heading southeast, and you will find the hot spring on your right. Make sure to wear comfortable walking shoes and bring water, especially during the hot season.
