Car
If you're driving from Patong Beach or other areas in Phuket, take Route 402 towards Thalang. Continue on this road and follow signs for the airport (Phuket International Airport). Once you reach the intersection with Route 4025, turn left. Follow Route 4025 for approximately 10 minutes. You will see signs for Bang Pae Waterfall. The entrance is located in the Khao Phra Thaeo National Park. There is a parking area where you can leave your car. Note that there is an entrance fee of around 200 THB per person for the national park.
Public Transportation
To reach Bang Pae Waterfall using public transportation, you can take a local bus (songthaew) from various parts of Phuket. From Phuket Town, head to the bus terminal and find a songthaew heading towards Thalang or Pa Klok. Inform the driver that you want to stop at Bang Pae Waterfall. The fare is typically around 30-50 THB. Once you arrive at the entrance of Khao Phra Thaeo National Park, you may need to walk for about 20 minutes to reach the waterfall. Be aware that songthaews may not run frequently, so check the schedule in advance.
Taxi or Ride-Hailing Service
For a more convenient option, consider using a taxi or a ride-hailing service like Grab. Simply enter 'Bang Pae Waterfall' as your destination in the app. The ride from popular areas such as Patong or Kata Beach will cost between 600-1,200 THB depending on the distance and traffic. The driver will drop you off at the entrance of Khao Phra Thaeo National Park, where you can pay the entrance fee of approximately 200 THB per person.
