The boat ride typically takes about 30 minutes, offering scenic views of the coastline. Once you arrive at Ao Thalane, you will find the kayak rental station nearby.

From Krabi Town, take a songthaew (shared pickup truck) heading towards Ao Nang. Inform the driver that you want to get off at Khao Thong. This ride will take approximately 30 minutes. Once you reach Khao Thong, you can either walk to the kayak rental station at Ao Thalane, which should take around 15 minutes, or you can arrange for a local taxi to take you directly to Ao Thalane.

If you're starting from Phuket, take a minibus from the Phuket Bus Terminal to Krabi Town. The journey takes about 3 hours. Once in Krabi Town, follow the songthaew instructions above to get to Ao Thalane. This option allows you to travel comfortably while enjoying the views along the way.
