Tuk-Tuk

If you are in Patong, head to the main road (Rat-U-Thit 200 Pee Road) and look for a tuk-tuk stand. Negotiate a fare to Karon Beach, which should be around 200-300 THB. The driver will take you directly to the beach. The journey takes about 15-20 minutes.

Songthaew

From Patong, you can catch a songthaew (shared taxi) that goes to Karon Beach. Look for a songthaew on the main road, and confirm it is headed to Karon. The fare is typically around 30-50 THB per person. The ride takes about 20-30 minutes. Get off at the Karon Beach stop, and you will find yourself right at the beach.

Walking

If you are staying in Karon itself, walking to Karon Beach is very easy. From any hotel in Karon, head towards the coast. Most accommodations are within a 10-15 minute walk to the beach. Follow the signs or ask locals for directions to Karon Beach.
