Getting there

Public Bus (Songthaew)

From your location in Phuket Town, head to the main road and look for a songthaew (a shared taxi bus) heading towards Khao Rang. You can catch one from the main bus terminal or any major street where they stop. The fare is usually around 30-50 THB. Ask the driver to drop you off at Khao Rang viewpoint. The journey will take approximately 15-20 minutes depending on traffic.

Motorbike Taxi

If you prefer a quicker option, you can take a motorbike taxi from anywhere in Phuket Town. Simply find a motorbike taxi stand or flag one down on the street. Negotiate the fare beforehand, which should be around 60-100 THB. The ride to Khao Rang will take about 10-15 minutes. Make sure to wear a helmet, which the driver will provide.

Walking

If you are staying close to Khao Rang, you can walk there. From the center of Phuket Town, head towards Poonnakan Road, then continue straight until you reach the base of Khao Rang. The walk will take approximately 30-45 minutes depending on your pace. Keep an eye out for signs leading to the viewpoint, as there are paths that will guide you to the summit.

Bicycle Rental

For an active approach, consider renting a bicycle from one of the rental shops in Phuket Town. Follow Ratuthit Songroipi Road until you reach the base of Khao Rang. There are signs to help guide you. The bike ride will take around 20-30 minutes, and remember to wear a helmet.
