Getting there

Walking

From the center of Patong, make your way towards the southern end of Patong Beach. Head down to the beach and walk along the shoreline. Continue walking past the beach until you reach the end of the beach, where you will encounter a rocky area. Look for a small path that leads inland, which is the way to Freedom Beach. Follow this path, which may be steep and slightly rugged, for approximately 15-20 minutes until you reach the entrance to Freedom Beach.

Longtail Boat

If you prefer not to walk, you can take a longtail boat from the main Patong Beach area. Head to the southern end of Patong Beach where you will find boat operators. Negotiate a price (typically around 1,500 to 2,000 Thai Baht for a round trip) and ask to be taken to Freedom Beach. The boat ride will take about 10-15 minutes. Make sure to confirm the return time with the boat operator to avoid being stranded.

Tuk-Tuk

For those who wish to travel by tuk-tuk, you can find them throughout Patong. Request a ride to Freedom Beach, located at 'Siri Rat Road, Patong, Kathu District, Phuket 83100.' The fare is usually around 200-300 Thai Baht, depending on your starting point. The tuk-tuk will drop you off at the closest point to the beach, but be prepared for a short walk down to the beach itself.
