Getting There

• Walking

  From the center of Patong Beach, head east towards Rat-U-Thit 200 Pee Road. Walk along this road for about 1.5 kilometers until you reach the intersection with Nanai Road. Turn left onto Nanai Road and continue walking straight. After approximately 2 kilometers, you will reach the entrance to Kathu Waterfall, which is located on your right. Look for signs indicating the entrance.

• Tuk-Tuk

  You can find tuk-tuks readily available in Patong. Simply tell the driver 'Kathu Waterfall' and negotiate a fare (typically around 200-400 THB depending on your starting point). The drive will take about 15-20 minutes. Make sure to confirm with the driver that they will wait for you while you explore the waterfall or agree on a pick-up time.

• Motorbike Taxi

  Look for motorbike taxis near your location in Patong. Tell the driver you want to go to 'Kathu Waterfall'. The fare is usually around 100-150 THB, and the ride will take about 10-15 minutes. This is a quicker and often more convenient option, especially if you're traveling alone or with a small group.

• Public Songthaew (shared taxi)

  Catch a songthaew from Patong to Kathu. Find the songthaew stop on Rat-U-Thit 200 Pee Road, and look for a vehicle heading towards Kathu. The fare is typically around 30-50 THB per person. Inform the driver that you want to go to the waterfall. The journey may take around 20-30 minutes, depending on traffic.
