Walking
If you are in Rawai, you can reach Sangchai Beach by walking. Start at the Rawai Beach promenade. Head south along the beachfront road, following the signs towards Nai Harn Beach. After about 1.5 km, you will see a path leading towards Sangchai Beach on your left. It’s a bit hidden, so keep an eye out for a small sign. Follow this path, which is about 500 meters long, until you arrive at Sangchai Beach. The total walk is approximately 2 km and should take around 30-40 minutes.
Longtail Boat
Another scenic way to reach Sangchai Beach is by taking a longtail boat from Rawai Beach. Head to the Rawai Pier, located at the northern end of Rawai Beach. You can hire a longtail boat directly at the pier. The trip will cost around 1,500 to 2,000 THB for a private boat, and it takes about 15-20 minutes to reach Sangchai Beach. Make sure to negotiate the price and agree on a pick-up time for your return trip.
Tuk-Tuk
If you prefer a quicker option, you can hire a tuk-tuk to take you to Sangchai Beach. Simply flag down a tuk-tuk in Rawai and inform the driver that you want to go to Sangchai Beach. The ride will take around 10-15 minutes and should cost between 150 to 300 THB, depending on your bargaining skills and the time of day.
