Getting There

• Car

  If you're driving to Lamai Viewpoint & Valentine Stone, head towards the Lamai Beach area. Start on Route 4169, also known as the Ring Road. From Chaweng, it’s a 20-minute drive; simply follow signs for Lamai. Upon reaching Lamai, look for the signs directing you to the viewpoint, which will be on your right. Park at the designated parking area, and follow the path leading to the viewpoint. There is no entry fee for the viewpoint itself.

• Public Transportation (Songthaew)

  To reach Lamai Viewpoint & Valentine Stone via public transportation, take a Songthaew (shared taxi) from your location. Look for Songthaews heading towards Lamai. The fare typically ranges from 50 to 100 THB depending on your starting point. Inform the driver that you want to stop at Lamai Viewpoint. Once you arrive, follow the signs to the viewpoint. Note that you may need to walk a short distance from where the Songthaew drops you off.

• Taxi

  For a more direct route, consider hiring a taxi. You can book one through your hotel or flag one down on the street. The ride from Chaweng or Bophut should cost around 300 to 500 THB, depending on traffic and your exact location. Once you arrive at Lamai Viewpoint, the taxi can wait for you while you explore.
