    If you are driving from Chaweng Beach, head northwest on Route 4169. Continue straight for about 5 kilometers, then turn left onto Route 4171. After approximately 3 kilometers, you will see the signs for Wat Plai Laem on your right. There is ample parking available at the temple.

  • Public Transportation

    To reach Wat Plai Laem by public transportation, take a songthaew (shared taxi) from Chaweng Beach. Head to the main road and catch a songthaew heading towards Bophut. Inform the driver that you want to stop at Wat Plai Laem. The journey will take about 20-30 minutes, and the fare is usually around 30-50 baht. The songthaew will drop you off near the entrance of the temple.

    If you are starting from Lamai Beach, take Route 4169 heading north. Continue for about 7 kilometers until you reach a roundabout. Take the first exit onto Route 4171. After about 4 kilometers, Wat Plai Laem will be on your left. Look for the distinctive multi-headed Buddha statue as you approach.

    From Lamai Beach, you can catch a songthaew to Chaweng and then transfer to another songthaew heading to Bophut. Notify the driver to stop at Wat Plai Laem. The total travel time will be around 40-50 minutes, and the fare will cost around 60-80 baht.
