Getting There

Bus
From Samut Prakan, head to the nearest bus station. Look for Bus No. 2 or No. 25, which will take you to Bangkok. Board the bus and enjoy the ride. You will need to get off at the stop near the Democracy Monument. Once you get off, walk towards the Ratchadamnoen Klang Road. Sanam Luang will be straight ahead, and it is about a 10-minute walk from the bus stop.

Make your way to the nearest pier in Samut Prakan. Take a boat heading towards the Phra Nakhon area. Once you arrive at the pier near the Grand Palace, disembark and exit towards Ratchadamnoen Klang Road. Walk straight for about 15 minutes, and you will find Sanam Luang on your right-hand side.

Train (BTS)
Travel to the nearest BTS station, which is BTS Bearing or BTS Samrong. Take the BTS train towards Mo Chit and transfer at Siam Station to the Sukhumvit Line. Continue to National Stadium Station. From there, take a taxi or a motorcycle taxi to Ratchadamnoen Klang Road. Sanam Luang is about a 5-minute ride away.

If you are already in the vicinity of Samut Prakan, you can explore by foot. Head towards the nearest bus stop, and take Bus No. 2 or No. 25 to Bangkok. After getting off at Democracy Monument, walk straight on Ratchadamnoen Klang Road for about 10 minutes, and you will reach Sanam Luang.
