Car

If you are driving, head towards Khura Buri District in Phang Nga. From the main road (Highway 4), take the exit towards Highway 4013. Follow the signs for Lam Kaen. Once you reach Lam Kaen, look for signs indicating the pier for the Similan Islands. The total drive time from major towns like Khao Lak or Phuket is approximately 1.5 to 2 hours. Please note that parking is available at the pier, but there may be a small fee.
Public Transportation

To reach the Similan Islands via public transportation, take a bus from Phuket or Khao Lak to Khura Buri. Buses run regularly from both locations and the journey takes about 1.5 to 2 hours. Once you arrive in Khura Buri, you can take a local songthaew (shared taxi) to the pier for the Similan Islands. The fare for the songthaew is usually around 50-100 THB per person. Ensure to check the schedule for the last departing bus for your return trip.
Boat Transfer

From the pier in Khura Buri, you will need to board a speedboat or ferry to reach Остров 8 in the Similan Islands. The boat ride typically takes about 1-2 hours. It is highly recommended to book your boat tickets in advance, especially during peak season. Prices can range from 1,200 to 2,500 THB per person, depending on the type of boat and package.
