Car
If you are traveling by car from the Similan Islands, you will first need to take a boat back to the mainland (Khao Lak). The boat ride typically takes about 1-2 hours and can be arranged through your hotel or local tour operators. Once you reach the mainland, head north on Route 4 (Phetkasem Road) towards Thai Mueang. After about 20 kilometers, you'll reach the town of Thai Mueang. Look for signs to Lam Kaen and turn onto the local roads. Continue for about 5 kilometers until you reach Khao Lak Elephant, located at 10 5, Lam Kaen, Thai Mueang District, Phang-nga 82210.
Public Transportation
For public transportation, you will need to return to the mainland from the Similan Islands via boat. Once you arrive at the pier, take a local bus or songthaew (shared taxi) heading towards Thai Mueang. The fare is typically around 30-50 THB. After reaching Thai Mueang, you will need to take another songthaew or arrange for a taxi to Lam Kaen. The distance is about 5 kilometers, and the fare for this leg should be around 100-150 THB. Be sure to confirm the drop-off point at Khao Lak Elephant, located at 10 5, Lam Kaen, Thai Mueang District, Phang-nga 82210.
