Car
If you have a rental car, start your journey from any location in the Similan Islands to the mainland. First, take a ferry from the islands to the nearest pier, usually Tap Lamu Pier. Once on the mainland, drive along Highway 4 (Phetkasem Road) towards Takua Pa. After about 30 kilometers, take a right turn onto Route 401. Continue on this road for approximately 15 kilometers until you reach Bang Muang. The Supaporn Elephant Camp will be on your left. Look out for signs, as the camp is located in a rural area.
Public Transportation
For those using public transportation, take the ferry from Similan Islands back to Tap Lamu Pier. From Tap Lamu Pier, you can catch a local bus or a songthaew (shared taxi) heading towards Takua Pa. Inform the driver that you are going to Bang Muang. The ride will take about 45 minutes. Once you arrive in Bang Muang, you may need to take a short taxi or motorbike ride to reach Supaporn Elephant Camp, which is approximately 5 kilometers from the bus stop.
Taxi
If you prefer a more direct route, you can hire a taxi from Tap Lamu Pier after your ferry ride. Negotiate the fare before starting your journey. The taxi ride to Supaporn Elephant Camp will take about 30 minutes. Make sure to mention the exact address: Bang Muang, Takua Pa District, Phang-nga 82190, to ensure they take you to the correct location.
