Walking
If you are starting from the Sukhothai Historical Park entrance, walk straight through the park towards the main road (Rte 12). Exit the park and turn left onto Rte 12. Continue walking for about 500 meters until you reach the intersection with Rte 1. Turn right onto Rte 1, and walk for another 1 kilometer. The King Ramkhamhaeng Monument will be on your left side, located in the Mueang Kao area.
Bicycle
From your accommodation in Sukhothai, rent a bicycle and head towards the Sukhothai Historical Park. After entering the park, cycle towards the main exit. Once you exit, turn left onto Rte 12. Cycle along Rte 12 for about 500 meters to reach the intersection with Rte 1. Turn right onto Rte 1 and continue cycling for about 1 kilometer. The King Ramkhamhaeng Monument will be on your left side, located in Mueang Kao.
Tuk-Tuk
From your current location in Sukhothai, find a nearby tuk-tuk stand or flag down a tuk-tuk. Inform the driver that you want to go to the King Ramkhamhaeng Monument in Mueang Kao. The journey will typically take around 10-15 minutes depending on traffic. The driver will drop you off right at the monument.
Public Transport
Head to the nearest bus stop where local songthaews (shared taxis) operate. Look for a songthaew heading towards Mueang Kao. Once on board, inform the driver that you want to get off at the King Ramkhamhaeng Monument. The ride will take about 20-30 minutes, depending on the number of stops.
