Getting there

Songthaew

From the center of Hua Hin, head to the nearest Songthaew stop, often found along the main road (Phetkasem Road). Look for a Songthaew heading towards Nong Phlap. The fare is typically around 10-20 THB. Inform the driver you want to go to Tham Dao. The ride will take approximately 20-30 minutes. Get off at the Nong Phlap area and ask locals for directions to Tham Dao Cave, which is a short walk from there.

Motorbike Taxi

If you're looking for a quicker option, you can use a motorbike taxi. Find a motorbike taxi stand in Hua Hin or use a ride-hailing app. Tell the driver you want to go to Tham Dao in Nong Phlap. The journey should take around 15-20 minutes, and the fare will be around 100-150 THB. Ensure the driver is familiar with the location before you start.

Bicycle Rental

For the more adventurous, consider renting a bicycle. There are several rental shops in Hua Hin. Once you have your bike, head west on Phetkasem Road towards Nong Phlap. After about 8 kilometers, look for signs indicating the direction to Tham Dao. The ride will take around 30-40 minutes. Make sure to bring plenty of water and wear appropriate gear for cycling.
