Songthaew
From central Trat, look for a songthaew (a shared taxi truck) heading towards Laem Klat. Songthaews depart from the main bus station or can be flagged down on the street. Confirm with the driver that they go to Laem Klat. The fare is typically around 30-50 THB. The journey will take about 30 minutes.
Motorbike Taxi
For a faster option, you can hire a motorbike taxi from any busy area in Trat. Agree on the fare before the ride, which should be around 100-150 THB for the trip to Suvarn Gleaw Thong Beach. The ride will take approximately 20-25 minutes.
Walking
If you prefer to walk, head towards Laem Klat from the center of Trat. The beach is about 10 km away, so it will take about 2-3 hours on foot. Follow the main road (Route 3) south until you reach DPT. Alley and then take a right turn to access the beach area.
Bicycle Rental
You can rent a bicycle from various shops in Trat. Follow Route 3 heading south towards Laem Klat. It’s approximately a 10 km ride, which should take around 30-45 minutes, depending on your cycling speed. Upon reaching Laem Klat, turn onto DPT. Alley to reach Suvarn Gleaw Thong Beach.
