From Trat town, make your way to the Laem Sok Pier, which is approximately 30 kilometers away. You can take a local songthaew (shared taxi) or a motorbike taxi to reach the pier. Once you arrive at Laem Sok Pier, purchase a ticket for a ferry to Koh Kut (Ko Kut). The ferry ride takes about 1.5 to 2 hours. Upon arriving at Koh Kut, disembark and look for local transportation options such as a songthaew or a motorbike taxi that can take you to Bang Bao Beach, which is around 15 kilometers from the pier.

From Trat, head to the Trat Bus Station and take a bus to Koh Chang. Buses leave regularly throughout the day, and the journey takes approximately 1.5 hours. Once you arrive at the Koh Chang ferry terminal, you will need to take a ferry to Koh Chang Island. After reaching Koh Chang, take a local songthaew to reach Bang Bao Beach, which is located on the southern coast of the island. The local transportation can be easily found near the ferry terminal.
