Getting there

Boat

From Trat, head to Laem Ngop Pier, which is the main departure point for islands in the area. You can take a local songthaew (shared taxi) from Trat town to Laem Ngop Pier. The ride takes about 30 minutes. Once at the pier, you can purchase a ticket for a ferry or speedboat to Ko Ngam. There are several services available, so check the schedules for departure times. The boat ride to Ko Ngam takes approximately 30 to 45 minutes, depending on the type of boat you choose.

Songthaew

If you are in Trat town, you can catch a songthaew directly to Laem Ngop Pier. Look for songthaews heading toward the pier; they are usually marked. The fare is affordable and should be around 30-50 THB. Once you arrive at Laem Ngop Pier, follow the signs to the ticket booth for the boats going to Ko Ngam.

Ferry/Speedboat

Once you arrive at Laem Ngop Pier, purchase a ticket for the ferry or speedboat to Ko Ngam. Ensure you confirm the departure schedule as it may vary.
