Songthaew
From Trat town, head to the main bus station (Trat Bus Terminal). Look for the songthaews (shared taxis) heading to Koh Chang. The fare is usually around 60-100 THB. Inform the driver that you want to go to Wat Salak Phet. The songthaew will drop you off at the entrance of Koh Chang where you can catch another songthaew or a local taxi to get to your specific destination.
Ferry
Once you arrive at the pier in Koh Chang, you need to take a ferry from the mainland to Koh Chang Island. The ferry ride takes about 30 minutes and costs around 80-120 THB. After disembarking from the ferry, you can take another songthaew or taxi to Wat Salak Phet. Simply tell the driver your destination, and it should be a short ride of about 15-20 minutes.
