The ride will take approximately 15-20 minutes depending on traffic. Make sure to have small change to pay the fare, which should be around 60-80 THB.

Locate a Songthaew (shared taxi) at a nearby station, such as the one near the Ubon Ratchathani Bus Terminal. You can ask the driver if they go towards Kham Yai. Once you're on board, inform the driver you want to get off at Wat Kan Luang. The fare will be low, typically around 30-40 THB. The journey may take around 30-40 minutes.

If you are feeling adventurous and prefer to walk, head towards the Kham Yai area from the city center. Start from the Ubon Ratchathani City Pillar Shrine and walk straight down the main road (Phra Viharn Road) for about 3 kilometers. Follow the signs that point towards Kham Yai. You will need to cross a few intersections and stay on the main road. As you get closer, look for signs guiding you to Wat Kan Luang. This walk may take you about 40-50 minutes.
