If you're driving from central Bangkok, head west on Thanon Ratchadamnoen Klang. Continue onto Thanon Ratchadamnoen Nok, then take a left onto Thanon Phetchaburi. Follow the road until it becomes Thanon Wang Doem. Wat Arun will be on your right at 158 Thanon Wang Doem. Parking is available nearby, but be prepared for potential fees that can vary depending on the time of day.

Take the BTS Skytrain to Saphan Taksin Station (Silom Line). From there, head to the Sathorn Pier and take a Chao Phraya Express Boat. Board the boat heading towards Pier 8 (Tha Tien). Once you disembark at Tha Tien Pier, Wat Arun is just a short walk across the river. Note that the boat fare ranges from 15 to 40 THB depending on the distance.

You can take Bus 1, 25, 44, or 47 to the end of the route at Tha Tien. From there, walk to the river and catch a ferry or a long-tail boat to cross to Wat Arun. The bus fare typically costs around 8 THB to 30 THB depending on the bus type.
