Car Rental
If you have rented a car in Abaco Islands, start your journey from Marsh Harbour, the largest town on the island. Head east on the Queen's Highway (also known as the Abaco Highway) towards the town of Treasure Cay. This drive will take approximately 30 minutes. Once you reach Treasure Cay, park your car at the public parking area near the marina. From here, you will need to take a ferry to Iron Cay, as it is an uninhabited island.
Ferry
At the Treasure Cay Marina, look for ferry services that operate to Iron Cay. It is advisable to check the ferry schedule in advance, as services may vary. The ferry ride to Iron Cay will take about 15 minutes. Tickets usually cost around $20 round trip, so ensure you have cash ready to pay for your tickets.
Public Transportation
If you do not have a car, you can use local taxis or shuttle services from Marsh Harbour to Treasure Cay. Taxis can be found at most hotels and the airport, and the fare to Treasure Cay should be around $30-$40. Once you arrive at Treasure Cay, follow the same ferry instructions to get to Iron Cay.
