Walking
If you are starting from the Grand Lucayan Resort, exit the hotel and head south towards the beach. Walk along the coastline until you reach the main road, which is called The Mall Drive. Turn left and continue walking until you reach the intersection with The Queen's Highway. Continue straight on The Mall Drive for about 1.5 kilometers. You will see signs directing you to Count Basie Square. The square is located near the Port Lucaya Marketplace, which is a well-known landmark.

Public Transportation (Bus)
From the main bus terminal in Freeport, take a bus heading towards Port Lucaya. The fare is usually inexpensive, and the ride will take about 15-20 minutes. Inform the driver that you want to get off at Port Lucaya Marketplace. Once you arrive, exit the bus and walk towards the center of the marketplace. Count Basie Square Bandstand is located right in the heart of the marketplace and is easy to find.
