Car
If you are driving, start from downtown Nassau and head east on Bay Street (also known as the A1). Continue on Bay Street for about 3 miles. You will pass several landmarks, including the National Art Gallery of The Bahamas and the Fort Charlotte. Keep an eye out for signs directing you to Paradise Island. Once you reach the bridge to Paradise Island, cross over it. After crossing the bridge, follow the signs to Atlantis Resort. Rapids River Atlantis is located within Atlantis, so look for the main entrance to the resort. Parking is available on-site, but there may be a fee.

Public Transportation - Bus
For public transportation, look for a bus that says 'Paradise Island' or 'Atlantis'. Buses run frequently from downtown Nassau to Paradise Island. You can catch a bus at the central bus station located at the corner of Bay and Charlotte Streets. The fare is typically around $1.25, and you should have exact change. Once you reach Paradise Island, ask the driver to drop you off at Atlantis. From there, follow the signs to Rapids River Atlantis. Be aware that buses may not run frequently in the evenings, so check the schedule if you plan to return after dark.
