Car
If you are traveling by car, start from downtown Nassau. Head east on Bay Street (the main road along the coast) towards Paradise Island. Continue along Bay Street until you reach the Paradise Island bridge. Cross the bridge and follow the signs for Paradise Island. Once on the island, take the first right onto Ocean Club Drive. Continue straight until you reach the public access point for Cabbage Beach on your left. There is no direct parking available at the beach access, so park in designated areas nearby, which may incur parking fees.
Public Transportation
To use public transportation, take a jitney (local bus) from downtown Nassau. Look for jitneys marked for Paradise Island. The fare is typically around $1.25 per person. Once you arrive on Paradise Island, ask the driver to drop you off near the Atlantis Resort, as it is a prominent landmark. From there, walk towards Cabbage Beach; follow the signs or ask locals for directions to the public access point, which is located adjacent to the Atlantis Resort. Be prepared for a short walk as the beach access is not directly at the bus stop.

For a more convenient option, you can hail a taxi from anywhere in New Providence. Inform the driver that you’d like to go to Cabbage Beach Public Access on Paradise Island. The fare from downtown Nassau to Paradise Island is approximately $15-$20, depending on traffic. Once you arrive, the taxi can drop you off near the public access point.
