    Car

    From Abuko Nature Reserve, exit the reserve and head south on the main road (Kairaba Avenue). Continue straight for approximately 5 km until you reach the junction with the road leading to Serrekunda. Turn right onto the road towards Serrekunda and continue for another 3 km. Look for signs directing you to Bijilo Beach. Once you get closer, you may need to ask local residents for the exact location, as it is situated on an unnamed road. The GPS coordinates for Bijilo Beach are approximately 13.4381° N, -16.7281° W.

    Public Transportation (Bush Taxi)

    From Abuko Nature Reserve, walk to the nearest bush taxi stop along Kairaba Avenue. Board a bush taxi heading towards Serrekunda. The fare is typically around 10-20 Dalasi (D). Inform the driver that you are heading to Bijilo Beach. Once you arrive in Serrekunda, you may need to take another bush taxi or a short motorbike ride to reach Bijilo Beach. Make sure to confirm the final fare before getting on.

    Walking

    If you prefer to walk and enjoy the surroundings, you can leave Abuko Nature Reserve on foot. Head south towards Kairaba Avenue, then turn right and walk along the avenue for about 5 km until you reach the junction with the road to Serrekunda. From there, continue straight for another 3 km.
