Car
From Baboon Island, head towards the nearest ferry terminal to cross the river. Once you have crossed, drive towards the town of Janjanbureh (also known as McCarthy Island). Follow the main road (Banjul-Kanilai Highway) until you reach the junction that leads to Janjanbureh. After about 40 kilometers, keep an eye out for signs directing you to Janjanbureh. Once in Janjanbureh, continue to G6MJ+C5R location, where the Janjanbureh Area Council is situated.

Public Transportation
From Baboon Island, take a local boat to the nearest mainland ferry terminal. Once you arrive, look for a shared taxi or 'bush taxi' heading towards Janjanbureh. The fare should be relatively inexpensive (around 50-100 Dalasis). Inform the driver of your destination, and they will drop you off at the main road leading into Janjanbureh. Walk towards the G6MJ+C5R location to reach the Janjanbureh Area Council.
