Start at the Bakau Beach area. Head east along the main road, known as the Atlantic Road (also called Bakau Highway). Walk towards the Serrekunda area. After about 20 minutes, you will reach the junction where the Atlantic Road meets the road leading to Serrekunda. Continue straight on this road.

After about 10 minutes of walking, you will see a sign for 'Serrekunda' on your left. Turn left and continue walking for another 15 minutes. You will pass local shops and markets, which is a great opportunity to experience local culture.
